At Spencer, Steffy told Bill that Liam wasn't on board with Bill's plans, and it might not have been the best idea to put Liam on the Sally assignment. Bill and Steffy discussed Bill's frustration with C.J. for not accepting the revised offer, and Bill didn't know how Spectra had snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. "If Liam tells Sally that Caroline isn't dying..." Steffy said. Bill asserted that Liam had "better damn not."

Steffy reasoned that Liam already had a lot on his conscience. Bill insisted that his son had to learn the time and place to be a Boy Scout. Bill envisioned that his boys would one day inherit "all of this," but neither was capable of running it alone. Each son lacked something the other compensated for. Bill wanted Liam to grow a pair, and trashing Sally was just the thing to help Liam do so. "So you hope," Steffy replied.

Bill packed up to go to a zoning meeting about "Sky." Steffy thought he should wait until Liam returned, but Bill said that Liam had better do as instructed. She asked if Bill minded if she waited. He didn't, but he said to be careful if she touched "Sky."

At Spectra, Sally needed Liam to tell her if Bill had another plan to sabotage Spectra. Answering her own question, she decided that Bill was up to something and had sent Liam to help bury her. Liam claimed not to march to his father's orders, but so far, all he knew about Sally was that she had crashed his wedding, stolen designs, and would be in jail if it weren't for Thomas.

Sally quipped that they weren't her finest moments. Turning on his recorder, Liam requested to hear about her better moments. Sally had done a lot of growing due to Thomas, but she needed him there. She wouldn't pressure him to return because Caroline dying trumped even Spectra. Sally had to succeed on her own and hoped she had a chance with someone like Bill against her. Unable to speak to his father's ambitions, Liam promised to write an honest article.

Turning off the recorder later, Liam thought it was cool to know that there was more to Sally than flash, grit, and inflated confidence. "Thank you?" Sally dubiously replied. He claimed to be kidding and said her sensitivity poked through at times.

Sally replied that she knew what it was like to suffer and struggle due to her past with her addicted parents and her efforts to raise Coco while living with their Grams. Though her fight to survive didn't compare to Caroline's, Sally still had had to do a lot of things on her own. She said it was her Aunt Sally's building, and she'd carry on as her aunt wanted -- as long as she was given a fair shot. She asked if it were too much to ask. Liam replied that it wasn't.

Sally showed Liam some sketches, and he was impressed. She felt that they needed to be better because a lot was riding on things after Monte Carlo. Liam asked if Thomas could give her any help at all. She replied that Thomas couldn't focus on anything but his son's dying mother. Sally was under a lot of pressure. She believed in herself, but without Thomas, she felt empty, as if she'd lost a part of herself.

Struggling not to cry, Sally felt worse for sitting there, waiting for Caroline to die so that Thomas could return. It was ugly to Sally, and she asked why she was in such a position. Liam promised that he'd give her a fair reading. She said it was all she asked.

Sally apologized for being so sensitive and said it wasn't her. Liam replied that it might be. Sally insisted she'd learned her toughness from her Aunt Sally, and nothing would destroy Sally -- except maybe Liam's father.

Back at Spencer later with Steffy, Liam was upset and said it was really wrong that Bill was ruining multiple lives. Slapping "Sky," Liam said it was all for a monument to Bill's ego. Steffy said to tell it to Douglas, who needed his family together. Liam reasoned that Thomas would be a father no matter what, but Thomas was in love with Sally, not Caroline.

Steffy asked if Liam was sure about it. Liam replied that he was, and they'd seen the couple together. Steffy asked if he'd seen Thomas and Caroline together. Liam said he obviously hadn't lately. Steffy flashed a photo of the family and noted that they looked happy. Steffy believed the family needed time and space, and she asked Liam not to fall for Sally's act.

Steffy told Liam not to forget the things Sally had done to the Forresters. Steffy wasn't taking pleasure in the situation, but in her view, Sally was getting what she deserved.

At the mansion, Sheila thought inviting James to evaluate her was unorthodox. Eric asked if it was because she'd been married to James. Sheila said it was because James was a psychiatrist. James stated that he had a background in "neuro." James had learned that Sheila had suffered head trauma, a concussion, some loss of memory, and vertigo. He was there to help her get back on her feet and back to her life.

Eric left, and downstairs later, he answered the front door for Brooke, who'd arrived with files for Quinn. He said Quinn was working on new designs in the study. Brooke asked if everything was okay. He replied that he'd taken Sheila in as a houseguest.

Over coffee later, Brooke was shocked to hear about the fight between Sheila and Quinn. Eric believed there was no excuse for that kind of violence and conveyed that the doctor had wanted Sheila watched for twenty-four hours. His conscience hadn't let him kick her to the curb. Brooke asked what was next, and Eric said he'd reached out to James for an evaluation.

Eric remarked that James had happened to be in town. Brooke stated that it had been a lucky coincidence. Eric felt bad for Sheila, who'd been thrown in jail after being accused of shooting at Quinn, and then she'd suffered a concussion due to Quinn. Brooke sensed some reluctance, and Eric said, "Well, she's Sheila, isn't she?" He didn't think he'd ever completely trust Sheila.

Eric trusted James, though, and believed James would give him an accurate report. Eric was looking for James to say Sheila was fully recovered and could move on with her life.

Upstairs, James evaluated Sheila's wound and decided Sheila didn't need the head dressing. Her pupils weren't dilated, and despite her claim that her heart was racing, he found her pulse and blood pressure were normal. She insisted that she had problems focusing. He asked if she was being honest with him, because all of her vitals were fine. He believed she was ready to leave the house.

Sheila said she couldn't possibly leave and noted that she'd nearly fallen out before James had arrived. James was aware of it. Sheila felt it was all the more reason to be compassionate. She said she and James shared a daughter. Sheila was still in touch with Mary and had talked to Mary the whole time that Shelia "was inside."

"In prison, you mean," James stated. Sheila believed it meant she and James were family, and family looked out for each other. James replied that Eric had asked for an evaluation, and though it was apparent that she was well enough to leave the house, it was also apparent that she didn't want to. James suggested she gather her things while he talked to Eric.

"Not so fast, Dr. Warwick. That is, if you still want to be a doctor," Sheila replied. She said he didn't want to force her hand. James asked what she'd do, but he said to never mind because he wouldn't take the bait. She claimed he didn't understand what was at stake and informed him that Eric had a dishonest, deceptive wife who'd destroy him.

James quipped that he knew a thing or two about that. Sheila stated that the wife was worse than Sheila had been. James said he was there to give Eric an accurate report. Sheila said it was what James would do, and he'd say she wasn't ready to leave. "You want me to lie to Eric?" James asked.

Getting out of bed, Sheila indicated that James didn't know all Mary had said about him. Sheila asked why James wasn't practicing and said it was as if he'd fallen off the face of the earth. She stated that he was writing prescriptions for himself. He replied that she didn't know it was true, but she said they both knew it was.

Sheila accused him of being addicted to pain pills and said he'd lose his license forever if the medical board knew. She was sure they didn't want that to happen. James admitted to having a slight problem, but he claimed to be doing well in recovery. Sheila said it was good, and he told her not to do it to him.

Sheila didn't want to do it, but she asked why she should help James if he didn't help her. James asked if she wanted him to lie to Eric. She stated that she wanted James to help Eric, who was with a woman causing great pain. James stated that it was blackmail.

Sheila asserted that what James had done was criminal, and she threatened to tell the medical board about how he'd abused his privileges as a doctor.

James replied that he'd stopped. Sheila said it had been too late to save his license and practice. She accused him of writing prescriptions to support his drug habit. James gleaned that Sheila never wanted to leave there.

Someone knocked on the door. Sheila ordered James to do as she said or else his career would be history. Sheila hopped back in bed, and Eric entered.

Eric asked how Sheila was feeling, and she guessed that she was woozy. Eric asked James for a diagnosis and if Sheila was ready to leave. James stated that Sheila had suffered a concussion, might have cerebral contusions, and needed more time to heal. Eric asked if Sheila should be in a hospital.

James replied that he'd recommend imaging, just for confirmation, but they'd have to tell a hospital how Sheila had been injured. He couldn't guarantee that the police wouldn't get involved. James was under the impression that Eric wanted to keep it quiet, but if Eric had changed his mind, they could call an ambulance right away.

Sheila said she didn't want to put Eric through it. Eric asked James what they should do. James suggested that Sheila recover there at the house. Eric didn't want the incident to get out because his family had been through enough already. He decided that she could stay on, and he asked James to keep things between them.

James agreed. He said he had to pick up some things he needed, and he'd return. Eric showed James out. Once alone, Sheila breathed a sigh of relief.

Brooke had lemonade in her living room and thanked Ridge for helping her move. Ridge suggested that it might help to talk about things. She replied that she'd already talked and talked and talked. He clarified that he'd meant talk to a friend, not to the screwup. Brooke believed that she still needed to process it so she could make the right decision. Ridge said he'd support any decision that would lead her home.

Ridge said that all the room Brooke had at the house reminded him of how small his loft was. Brooke thought the loft was good for a bachelor. The commute from the beach to Beverly Hills was getting to him. He said that if she knew anyone who was renting a room, she could recommend him. "I'm very tidy. Very clean," he told her. Brooke said it was too soon for that.

Ridge asked what Brooke was saying or implying. Brooke replied that she knew exactly what he was implying. "You're saying I should move in with you, but it's too soon for that," Ridge responded. He said he probably would visit all the time, even though he'd see her at work. He wanted her to know that he was the person she could lean on.

Brooke appreciated it and said they'd see each other at the house because she wanted to cut her hours at work. Ridge exclaimed that the best thing for her to do was to throw herself into work. He said she wasn't a part-timer; she was a full-time Forrester, and she always would be. Brooke said he made it sound so easy to just work the troubles away. He replied that it had worked for him each time he'd lost her.

Brooke asked if Forrester really needed her with all the young blood there. Ridge stated that the company existed because of four people: his father, his mother, him, and Brooke. He believed that the younger people knew they had their jobs because of "us," and he asked where any of them would be without the BeLieF formula, Brooke's Bedroom, or the Men's Line.

Ridge declared that Brooke was Forrester Creations, and she belonged with them. He didn't know a better place for her to be if she was feeling sad than at a place where people supported her. Ridge didn't care what Bill had done. It was enough to know that Bill had gotten an amazing gift -- Brooke -- but Bill had thrown her away. Ridge was grateful that Bill had shown his true colors before she'd gotten caught in his selfish web.

Ridge said he and Brooke had shared a lot, and their worlds were the same. They shared the love of design and the thrill of the line on the runway. He told her that she was Forrester Creations, and she shouldn't ever forget it. Brooke grinned and rubbed his chin.

Convinced that work was the key, Brooke asked what she should focus on. Ridge suggested lingerie, but Brooke replied that Steffy was doing well with the Intimates line. He was sure that Steffy would be happy if Brooke took over because Steffy was busy being co-CEO. Squeamishly, Brooke asked if there wasn't anyone else who could do it.

Ridge said there was no one else, and the Logan he remembered liked being in the limelight. Ridge believed Bill had taken it away from her because Bill's personality sucked the life out of a room. Ridge wanted her to find her space again. "And it would be kind of nice to see you walking around in lingerie every day," he added.

Brooke announced that the truth was finally out. Ridge joked that she was making it ugly, but it inspired him. She said he didn't have to see her half-naked every day to be inspired. Agreeing, he said he just wanted her around, fully clothed or not. He wanted to be around her passion and determination -- and not just at the office.

Brooke replied that she needed time. Ridge knew it. He just felt he'd wasted a lot of time in being foolish and reckless. He'd learned his lesson, and he wanted her back home. He'd always figured it would be the two of them at the end.

At Bill's house, Bill asked if Steffy had really meant it about being his friend. Steffy affirmed it, and he decided he'd need to keep her around. Patting his shoulder, she noted that he hadn't been so bad out on the bike. He replied that "Motorcycle Mama" hadn't been so bad, either.

Bill fetched some beers from the kitchen. Steffy asked if they were drinking casually or getting drunk. He replied that he could only speak for himself. It was strange to Bill that he'd taken an afternoon ride because he was supposed to be at work, making money. She knew it was hard, but she said it wouldn't be for long. She believed Liam and Bill would work it out.

Bill asked how Steffy could be so confident, and she asked if there was any other way to be. She asked if she and "Slick" would go riding again the next day. Impressed that he'd earned a nickname, Bill pretended to check his schedule, which was wide open for him to ride again with Motorcycle Mama. Steffy said she didn't know if that was the best nickname for her.

Apologizing, Bill realized that he'd been insensitive. Steffy said it was okay, and she and Liam had been trying to get pregnant. "Obviously, no luck," she added, turning up her drink. Bill asked where her confidence was and said it wasn't just for other people.

Bill hoped he'd get to see the kid, and Steffy stated that he and Liam would be made up by then.

Bill had imagined that he'd do the grandparent thing with Brooke. Steffy believed Brooke would be crazy not to return, and if it didn't happen, there would be another woman who'd make him forget that Brooke Logan had ever existed.

Bill asked how forgiveness was so easy for Steffy. He said she'd surpassed forgiveness to go to bat for him. Steffy replied that she wouldn't do it for just anyone. Bill guessed he was special. She repeated the word, and he sensed she wanted to say "special kind of jerk."

Steffy replied that Bill was rough around the edges, but she knew he was just a teddy bear. Bill balked at the comparison, and she changed it to grizzly bear. Steffy said the Spencers wouldn't be a family without his leadership, and she knew it because she was a Spencer. She was grateful to be one and wouldn't let the family implode.

Bill decided that he was the grateful one to have a woman as smart and beautiful as she was in his family and on his side. Steffy grasped his hand, and a strange look washed over him. Steffy stood as if preparing to go. She believed a woman was out there for Bill. In her view, it was Brooke, but if that didn't work out, Steffy was sure someone would cross Bill's path.

At Spencer with Wyatt, Liam asked if Wyatt wanted to do what was right instead of looking the other way and pretending that Bill was someone to emulate. Liam planned to do good things, and he asked if Wyatt wanted to be his right-hand man. "What do you say? Shall we do this?" Liam asked. Wyatt asked if Liam was serious.

Liam envisioned the Spencer brothers running the place and said Wyatt's strengths made up for Liam's weaknesses. Wyatt quipped that Liam had admitted he had weaknesses. Liam said he was going in blind and could use Wyatt's help. Wyatt was leery about screwing over their father. Liam claimed it wasn't about Bill; it was about running the company with decency. Liam claimed that it was a new era, he and Wyatt were at the top, and nothing was stopping them.

Wyatt asked if Liam had really thought through running Bill's empire. "Our empire," Liam corrected. Wyatt didn't want Liam to fool himself, because it was Bill's world. Wyatt said that Bill had groomed them, but they weren't even close to ready. "Speak for yourself," Liam quipped.

Wyatt didn't believe he and Liam had enough experience. Disagreeing, Liam said they did, and they'd figure out what they didn't know as they went. Wyatt retorted that it wasn't a high school club; it was a multi-billion-dollar corporation, and there would be serious consequences if it failed. Liam asserted that Spencer wouldn't fail.

Due to Liam's decisions as CEO, Wyatt wasn't so sure. Liam claimed his choices had been cost-effective. "Dude, I've run the numbers," Liam said. Wyatt asked if Liam had run the numbers on buying Spectra and gifting it back to Sally. Liam believed that some gambles were worth taking for a good cause. "Sally is not a cause," Wyatt replied.

Liam maintained that Sally was a good person who'd gotten run over by their father, and good people deserved to have good things happen to them. Wyatt asked what naïve people who betrayed their vengeful fathers deserved. Wyatt assumed it would be payback, and he didn't want to be Liam's right-hand man in that gamble. Wyatt's money was on Bill, who always got his revenge. Wyatt had a feeling that payback would be a "bitch."

Liam asserted that Wyatt couldn't go through life, worrying about Bill's revenge. Agreeing, Wyatt said he couldn't, and he wouldn't. As long as Wyatt didn't approve of Liam's little coup, Wyatt wouldn't be the one Bill lashed out at. Liam stated that it was Wyatt's chance to do the right thing. Wyatt, however, didn't believe blackmail was the right thing.

Wyatt believed that Bill had also been wrong, but Wyatt felt that Bill at least regretted it. "Sure," Liam sardonically quipped. Wyatt insisted that Bill did and said it would be nice to hear some regret from Liam. Chuckling, Liam exclaimed that he didn't regret taking the reins from Bill. Wyatt was sure Liam would regret it because Wyatt had never seen their father so furious. Wyatt was positive Bill would get back at Liam and hurt Liam in ways Liam had never imagined.

Liam claimed he could handle whatever Bill would throw at him. Wyatt expressed worry about Liam, who was in a fantasyland and wasn't making any sense. Wyatt insisted that Bill would never be happy about "this," and Bill would never be proud of Liam for blackmailing himself into control and giving away all of Bill's money.

Wyatt implored Liam to listen to Wyatt and Steffy, who cared about Liam. "What you're doing right now is wrong. So, please, back down. Find a way to make things right with Dad because you do not want to make him your enemy," Wyatt warned.

Liam appreciated the concern, but he wanted Wyatt to calm down. Liam said that Bill could make Liam into an enemy, but there was nothing left for "that man" to do to Liam.

Unbeknownst to Liam, Steffy was at Bill's house. Bill took her hand and smiled. He cupped her face with his free hand. He thanked her and said the day had been just what he'd needed.

October 6th recap soap central



At Spencer, Wyatt urged Liam to reconsider making himself an enemy of their father and causing turmoil in his marriage over Sally. Liam was adamant about making up for what Bill had done, and Liam believed that he was doing what was right for the company and the family.

Wyatt was at a loss for words. Liam quipped that it was good because he had to go. Before leaving, Liam said he appreciated the concern, but there was nothing Bill could do to him.

Later, Katie arrived as Wyatt was leaning pensively on the desk. He wondered how she'd known that she was the one person he wanted to see. Katie said she'd swung by and dropped off proofs for another department, but she could swing back out if he was busy. Wyatt instructed her to swing over to him, and the couple kissed.

Katie asked if Liam was off saving the world. Wyatt replied that Liam was only saving Sally, whom Liam had taken on the jet to San Francisco. Katie was surprised to hear it and said she could think of a couple people who would not be okay with it.

Wyatt was worried about his brother. Katie said Liam felt the need to fix everything his father had broken. Wyatt noted that the business had been in Bill's life for longer than Bill's sons had been, and it was like Bill's real firstborn. Wyatt added that Bill had lost it on top of losing Brooke.

Katie recalled that Bill being left stirred Bill's feelings of abandonment. To her, the predicament might be Bill's most difficult challenge. Wyatt had never seen Bill "do difficult." Wyatt had only seen Bill shake it off and go after whoever had hurt him.


It concerned Wyatt that Liam would risk Bill's wrath to be Sally's savior. Though Wyatt and Liam were opposites, Wyatt loved Liam, and it worried Wyatt to watch Liam's innocence and ability to see the greater good slip away. Wyatt said that it was commendable to put on a cap and save Sally, but Liam was paving his path to destruction.

Wyatt stated that no one just took things away from Bill Spencer or sidelined him. Wyatt was afraid that Liam would wind up in the crosshairs of Bill's revenge.

Later, Katie sat in Wyatt's lap. Wyatt said Eric hadn't promised to keep quiet about them. Katie figured Eric would give them notice before telling anyone. They joked about how Bill would respond. Wyatt said it would be nothing in comparison to what Bill would do to Liam, and it was only a matter of time before Bill made Liam pay.

At Spectra, Saul complained to Shirley about not knowing about the San Francisco trip sooner. He said he could have helped prepare a presentation of the things they needed. Shirley seemed tickled as she said Sally had everything she needed. Darlita and Saul could tell Shirley was dying to spill the beans about something, and Shirley cooed about Sally going to the meeting with Liam Spencer.

Saul believed that Shirley was mistaken, but Shirley said Liam and Sally were supposedly going for business. "Supposedly?" Saul repeated. Shirley was sure he'd noticed. Saul asked what he'd noticed. Shirley asked Darlita, who said Sally's face lit up whenever Liam was in the room.

Shirley pulled out her phone to text words of encouragement. Saul raged that it was wrong, and Liam was a married man. Shirley didn't believe that marriage was always a permanent condition and said Liam was going to realize that he'd be lucky to have Sally. Saul felt that any man would be, but he suspected that Steffy Spencer might have something to say about it.

On the Spencer jet, Liam met with Sally. He discussed the great opportunity they had to renovate Spectra or bulldoze and start all over. Though Sally was grateful for the opportunity, she really didn't think she could go on the trip with Liam, who'd done way too much for her already. Sally felt he'd gone beyond anything anyone had ever done for her.

Liam said that Bill had done the untenable. Though Sally agreed, she said it wasn't Liam's job to fix it. She was touched that Liam wanted to make her whole again. "Maybe I should just go back home and lead a simple life," she said. Liam didn't believe she wanted to do that. Sally said that all she knew was that Liam had given her too much.

Liam said that he wanted to help Sally; he needed to. He tried to convince her that the meeting would accelerate things for her, and the firm had already been paid a fortune. He said it would make her better than whole, but she just had to let him help her. Sally said it would be easy to get swept up in his enthusiasm. Liam urged her to do it.

Sally kept going back to the moment she'd discovered the fire and had seen her dreams shattered by a stupid accident. She'd been done, but all of a sudden, there Liam had been with his generosity and incredible spirit to give her a second chance. It had been major, and she wouldn't have the building without him. Sally believed Liam had made up for his father tenfold and didn't owe her anything.

Liam said Sally would be much further along if it hadn't been for Bill. Sally agreed, but she said Bill hadn't started the fire. Sally stated that it had been an accident. Liam stared at Sally, and she asked what else it could have been. In Liam's guilty silence, Sally figured out that it hadn't been an accident, and Bill had had Spectra burned down.

Liam revealed that it was true, and Sally sighed in disillusionment. Liam said he hadn't been able to let Bill get away with sabotaging her again. "But to go against your father..." Sally uttered. Liam replied that Bill hadn't given Liam much of a choice if Liam wanted to live with himself. Liam said that he needed her not to go to the cops or tell anyone.
Sally realized that it was the reason Liam was in control of Spencer. She said Liam had used the fire against Bill to force him out, and the entire thing with her was Liam making up for what Bill had done. Liam explained that it was disgusting that Bill had ruined lives to put his name on another soulless high-rise.

Overwhelmed, Sally exclaimed that no one had ever done anything like it for her, and he had been a godsend to her. She kissed his cheek and hugged him.

At Bill's house, Bill snapped out of a sensual memory of him and Steffy. "Are you okay? You're looking at me like -- I don't know what," Steffy said. Bill claimed he'd been thinking about what she'd told him, and he asked what Liam was thinking to decide to take Sally on a trip.

Bill asked if Steffy had told Liam how she felt about it. Steffy replied that Liam had ignored her wishes and had practically said it wasn't her business. Bill found it disrespectful for a husband to treat his wife that way, and he said he'd never treat Steffy that way.

Steffy didn't want Liam taking the trip and throwing away more money on Sally. Steffy insisted that he'd done enough already. Bill asked what Liam had said, and she replied that Liam felt obligated to right his father's wrongs. Steffy began regurgitating the consequences that had befallen them thanks to Bill, but Bill stopped her, saying he couldn't keep getting beaten up over it. He felt that he'd acknowledged his wrongs, but he couldn't take them back.

Bill asked where things stood. Steffy explained that when she'd been unable to reason with Liam, she'd appealed to Sally. Steffy had said Sally couldn't just take advantage of every man, and instead of being a victim, Sally needed to solve her own problems. Steffy had made it very clear that she didn't want Sally flying with Liam.

Bill doubted Sally would listen, and Steffy said they'd just wait and see. Bill didn't know what had gotten into Liam. Steffy replied that Liam was definitely changing, and nothing was more important to Liam than rebuilding Spectra -- not even Liam's wife. Bill called Liam an idiot.

Steffy realized that she was talking about herself instead of being a friend. Bill likened them to soldiers in the trenches, dodging bullets together. Squeezing her hand, he said he didn't know where he would be without her support, and he appreciated her more than she knew. Steffy said she cared about the family, and she cared about Bill.

Checking her phone, Steffy noted that Liam hadn't messaged her and said it was probably because he was on the jet. "So much for the power of persuasion," she snapped. Bill said it was one stupid move after another with Liam. With Sally around, Steffy felt like she didn't even know her husband anymore. Bill said Sally played the victim, and Liam had "Sucker" stamped on his forehead.

Steffy said Sally was taking advantage of Liam, but Bill stated that one had to be a willing participant. Bill knew it hurt and said Steffy didn't have to hide her feelings. Sobbing, Steffy said her husband was off saving another woman, buying her buildings, and riding her around on his jet. Liam was doing it for a woman he should know Steffy couldn't stand.

"He does know it. He just doesn't care," Bill responded. Bill felt that Liam was betraying them both. Bill was fine with Liam going after him, but Bill stated that Liam should be doing backflips to keep Steffy happy.

Steffy didn't feel like much of a prize. Bill told Steffy that she was a grand prize, a queen, and the total package. He said she should never doubt how extraordinary she was. Steffy said she appreciated it, and Bill replied that he appreciated her. "You deserve a man, but you're married to a mouse!" Bill asserted.

Getting upset, Steffy asked Bill to please not go there about her husband. Bill roared that he was sorry, but he was at the end of his rope with Liam, who wouldn't meet his father in the middle and who'd disrespected his wife. "Well, he's going to pay for this. I will have my revenge," Bill declared.

Spoilers for the week of Oct. 23 to 27 indicate that Steffy will be unable to reconcile Liam (Scott Clifton) and Bill (Don Diamont), leading to complications with her marriage. She will get mad at Liam because he is still preoccupied with Sally (Courtney Hope). This will make her feel insecure about her relationship with him, and she may even grow concerned that he will cheat on her.Additionally, Steffy will also be worried about the fight with Bill. She will try to talk some sense into Liam and remind him that his family needs him, though it remains to be seen if she will get through to him.

There have been rumors going around that both Steffy and Liam will find themselves involved with other people because of their unsatisfactory relationship. If both partners end up having affairs, it does not seem like their marriage will last for long.

But Steffy is not the only one who has a marriage to keep afloat. Quinn (Rena Sofer) will also be subjected to temptation when Mateo (Francisco San Martin) takes a huge leap. It is expected that he will try to kiss Quinn, but it is unknown if she will kiss him back. Quinn's marriage is already on the rocks after she previously kissed someone else.Meanwhile, spoilers for the Friday, Oct. 20, episode of the soap opera reveal that Steffy will still be trying to get Liam and Bill to make up. Bill will be open to burying the hatchet, but Liam will not want to reconcile with Bill because he is tired of losing to him.

It is also expected that Liam will turn down Bill's offer to settle things between them, leading to the latter putting his plan into motion. He still has revenge on his mind, and Liam's rejection will only fuel his motivation further. Liam, on the other hand, will believe that he made the right decision because Bill has not changed at all.
